Product Description

7-21-20 - Equilibrium is back in stock!

Equilibrium is probably the single most effective probiotic blend Autism Coach has come across.  My family has been using Equilibrium regularly and it has been remarkably effective at quickly resolving digestive issues.  We use it in combination with Floraphage which is a probiotic and prebiotic that substantially increases the proliferation of beneficial microbes in the gut.

Equilibrium contains 1 Billion CFU (Colony Forming Units) from 115 strains of probiotics that no other probiotic blend offers. Equilibrium is based upon  the founder’s participation in the NIH’s Human Microbiome Project (1), a $115 million dollar census of humanity’s gut flora.  This research revealed that our industrialized and polluted world is causing our beneficial digestive flora to die off, allowing colonies of pathogens to proliferate in the intestinal tract. In the United States, we currently have 60% less biodiversity in our intestinal tract than our ancestors and 15% less biodiversity than Europeans.equilibrium-graphs.jpg

Beneficial flora make B vitamins, amino acids that are building blocks for our calming neurotransmitters, digestive enzymes, produce butyric acid that feeds the villi cells lining our intestinal tract that absorb nutrients.

When beneficial flora thrive, they crowd out pathogens.  When beneficial flora are killed off, pathogens proliferate - these include pathogenic species of Candida, Clostridium Difficile, and Klebsiella that produce neurotoxic by-products like ammonia, proprionic acid, oxalic acid and 4-Cresol.  All these neurotoxins pass into the brain and skew neurological development and cause neurological damage.  This generally leads to excessive levels of excito-toxins like glutamates that overexcite neurons and cause neuronal die-off in the brain, and insufficient levels of calming neurotransmitters like GABA, Serotonin, Melatonin.

Current research is even indicating that intestinal dysbiosis who produce excessive levels of toxins later can develop neurological conditions like depression, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.  So one of the best ways to prevent developing these neurological conditions is maintain the health of the digestive tract.  These neurotoxins also impair mitochondrial function resulting in reduced energy, contribute to brain fog, inflammation, allergies, impaired resistance to infections, and skew neurotransmitters in the brain to favor excitatory neurotransmitters and overstimulate neurons which causes damage to neurons. Your digestive tract has its own enteric nervous system and produces the same neurotransmitters produced in the brain - your microbiome (the colony of organisms in the your intestinal tract) actually produce and stimulate production of neurotransmitters which communicate with and effect the levels of neurogransmitters in the brain.

Intestinal dysbiosis is also linked to allergies, a depressed immune system, obsesity, diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, gall bladder problems, mitochondrial dysfunction, colitis, Crohn's Disease, celiac and some forms of cancer.  A massive microbial drop-off is common as people near retirement age.

Pilot Study

In a pilot study with Equilibrium, all participants who previously experienced post-meal discomfort reported a substantial reduction or complete relief.

  • 81% of participants reported a noticeable improvement in digestive function
  • 72% of participants reported a reduction in food cravings and mild weight loss
  • 54% of participants reported an increase in alertness and energy
  • 45% of participants reported reduced stress levels

Double Blind Study

Equilibrium has a double-blind study of 200 healthy adults.  Believe it or not there is a Bristol Stool Scale that is used to visually evaluate stools.  This study revealed that the stool composition was healthier for the users of Equilibrium from the placebo group, and moved significantly closer to the ideal Bristol Stool Scale.
