Rice bran oil is
one of the most hypoallergenic and beneficial of oils for autistic
children.
Rice bran oil is rich in unsaponifiable oils and gamma oryzanol which
are correlated with improving liver function and providing antioxidative
properties. Rice bran oil is also rich in natural forms of vitamin E.
Most importantly, gamma oryzanol has been shown to raise the levels of
neurotransmitters such as norepinephrine (NE), dopamine and Serotonin.
This high-quality rice bran oil has a very neutral, delicate flavor,
a high smoke point, making it perfect for an all-purpose cooking oil
(you can cook and fry with it), and long shelf life (does not turn
rancid quickly). It tends to cook best on medium heat on a burner.
Last, but not least, two tablespoons of rice bran oil a day, will
significantly lower the cholesterol levels of an adult, making it a
great oil to use for the whole family.
