All online and telephone orders are processed with secure sockets layer technology provided by Thawte.

Autism Coach accepts credit card payment, personal checks from within the U.S. and cashier's checks and money orders from outside the U.S.  

Return Policy:  Effective August 12, 2008.  Items unused and unopened are refundable if returned within 30 days of delivery, minus shipping and handling charges and a 10% restocking fee.  If we are at fault due to an incorrect delivery, then there will be no additional fees charged for shipping or restocking.  Purchases are non-refundable for opened software and supplements, and products returned in used condition. 

U.S. Shipping Information:  Orders placed within the U.S. generally arrive 2-7 days after placing the order. The Post Office sometimes takes an extra day or two to ship orders to the West Coast, Texas, Hawaii and Alaska.  If your order has not arrived after a week, please contact us at autismcoach@comcast.net  and we'll track your order.  U.S. orders placed by December 15 will arrive before Christmas.  If you have a deadline by which you need to receive your holiday order, please email us and we'll do our best to meet it or if you wish to, you can pay extra for custom shipping options.  Shipping fees are automatically calculated from postal rate tables by the shopping cart software and are based upon weight.  Sometimes an order is shipped in a flat-rate box, but this decision is made as the order is packed up - it depends on what makes the most sense.  We hope that you will understand that we are a consumer-oriented, parent friendly site and we try to keep the prices of our products and shipping costs affordable - however postal rates have increased and shipping costs include delivery confirmation, the time it takes to enter an order in our system and package it (about 25 minutes per order), and the cost of packaging materials.  

Texas customers assume responsibility for delivery:   Effective August 12, 2008.  Orders shipped to Texas are shipped at the risk of the customer.  If an order has shipped and does not arrive, it is still the responsibility of the customer to pay for the order. We love our Texas customers and encourage you to order, but there have been too many lost packages shipped to Texas recently. Our apologies for this inconvenience.

For international customers, We accept credit cards from outside the U.S.  If ordering by mail, international customers may enclose a money order or cashier's check in U.S. dollars.  When placing an order on-line, international customers must select the International Shipping option when placing an order or the order will be voided.  We are currently not shipping to Australia as shipping has become more unreliable over the last few years and we have lost thousands of dollars in products during this time.

International customers assume responsibility for delivery:  Effective August 12, 2008.  The customer assumes all risks for products shipped outside the U.S.  It is the customer's responsibility to track and locate and track any missing international shipment. Autism Coach will provide proof of shipment and the tracking number upon request, but the customer is expected to pay for the order regardless of whether or not they receive it.  We love our international customers, but cannot afford to absorb the cost of replacing items that were shipped but do not arrive. 

In general, we ship only to countries with reliable postal service such as Western Europe, The United Kingdom, Canada, Australia,  New Zealand, and Japan.  We do not ship supplements to Germany and Scandinavian countries because getting supplements through customs in these countries has been problematic.  Countries that seem to be fine for shipping supplements to are New Zealand, France, the United Kingdom, and Japan.  Australia has been more problematic as of late, although most orders are making it through. If direct shipment isn't an option, many customers find a friend or relative in the U.S. to receive the order and then they make separate arrangements for delivery.

Canadian Shipping Information:  Orders generally take 7-14 days because of customs delays, with the exception of British Columbia, where customs can delay shipments up to  a month.  We don't recommend upgrading to faster shipping, because orders with faster shipping are more likely to be delayed in customs and ironically take even longer to arrive.  As with other international customers, Autism Coach will ship and provide proof of shipment through postal receipts but is not responsible for the arrival of the product.  Regardless of whether or not the product arrives, the customer accepts the risk and responsibility to pay.  Once again, we love our Canadian customers, in fact, we live on the Canadian border and visit Canada quite often, but there have been too many instances of late of orders being shipped and either not arriving in a timely fashion or not arriving at all recently.  This seems to be more problematic in the western provinces.  Our apologies for this inconvenience.

Information you provide is confidential and private.  We do not share our mailing list with other companies.  Autism Coach is highly sensitive to the privacy of our customers and believes that the protection of those interests is one of its most significant responsibilities.   Autism Coach has adopted the following Privacy Policy applicable to information about consumers that it acquires in the course of its business: 1. Acquisition of Information. We do not acquire any more information about consumers than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely. 2. Our Employees and Privacy. We give access to information about consumers only to those employees who require it to perform their jobs. 3. Disclosure to Third Parties. We will provide individually-identifiable information about consumers to third parties only if we are compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority, we have the express permission of the consumer, or it is necessary to process transactions and provide our services. 4. If we should ever make our technology or services available to business partners, we will not share with them any more consumer information than is necessary, and we will make every reasonable effort to assure, by contract or otherwise, that they use our technology and services in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.
