Equilibrium is the most complete probiotic we have come across. It is based upon 10 years of research into probiotics that have historically naturally lived in our digestive system and are now missing due to widespread food sterilization, agricultural practices, irradiation of food (which is common in fresh supermarket produce), widespread use of antibiotics, and the contamination man-made chemicals in our food supply. Beneficial probiotics are critical for helping to produce B vitamins and for making available amino acids that are used to produce our calming neurotransmitters, amongst their many important functions. 

Equilibrium was developed by world-renowned microbiologists, funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation, whose research has been published in some of the most prestigious journals including Nature, Science, and PlosOne.  Equilibrium contains 1 Billion CRU from 115 strains of probiotics that no other probiotic supplement offers. This product is a direct offshoot of the company's founder’s participation in the NIH’s Human Microbiome Project (1), a $115 million dollar census of humanity’s gut flora. The data tells a clear story: as a society our digestive flora is dying off, and this lack of diversity has causal links to western stomach issues.  Using datasets, they identified the strain groups commonly missing from western microbiomes. They worked backwards from this data to locate missing dietary microbes which provide the needed function.

My family has been using Equilibrium and for us it has been remarkably effective at quickly resolving digestive issues. 

Produced in the Unites States, it can be stored at room temperatures and is easy to swallow. 

In a pilot study with Equilibrium:

  • All participants who previously experienced post-meal discomfort reported a substantial reduction or complete relief.
  • 81% of participants reported a noticeable improvement in digestive function
  • 72% of participants reported a reduction in food cravings and mild weight loss
  • 54% of participants reported an increase in alertness and energy
  • 45% of participants reported reduced stress levels

Ingredients:

  • prebiotic (ground organic flax seed)
  • delayed release capsules (plant derived hypromellose)

Hypromellose is an ingredient used in gluten free bread. It is well studied, inert / non-toxic, and in our opinion is the safest known solution for delayed release capsules.

Contains trace amounts of soy.

Contains no dairy, eggs, fish, shellfish, gelatin, nuts, wheat, gluten, casein, MSG, stearates (including magnesium stearate), GMO, artificial color or flavors.
