Product Description

Everyone should incorporate these oils into their daily cooking regimens. Coconut Oil and Red Palm oil are tasty and provide significant health benefits when used on a daily basis. They are actually quite tasty when added to hot cereal, soups, guacamole or stews. They may also be taken straight. Coconut Oil makes a great oil for frying french fries and Red Palm Oil makes a gourmet popcorn oil, coloring the pop-corn a beautiful yellow and adding a buttery flavor to it.

Coconut Oil provides the Medium Chain Triglyceride (MCT) fats that provide an alternative source of fuel for the brain to glucose. With those who follow the Western diet, high in sugar and refined carbohydrates, as we age, our cells tend to be more resistant to absorbing glucose, in many people leading to Type 2 Diabetes. Unfortunately our brain also becomes resistant to absorbing glucose and when this happens brain cells can die, leading conditions such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and ALS. Switching our brain fuel to MCTs enables the brain to continue to get the fuel it needs and prevents neuronal die-off. Alzheimer's is now considered to be a diabetes of the brain. Coconut oil also has strong anti-Candida properties - virtually all kids on the autism spectrum have Candida overgrowth. Adding this oil in to the diet can help to reduce populations of Candida, which when it overgrows can produce neurotoxiic by-products such as ammonia.

Red Palm Oil contains high levels of anti-oxidants in the Vitamin A and E families, as well as lycopenes. In studies it also stops the progression of artheriosclerosis and can even reverse it. It is naturally red from its high anti-oxidant content which comes from the fruit of the oil palm. It tastes great and happens to be a great alternative pop-corn oil. We enjoy it in guacamole and in soups and stews. It is best not to heat this oil too high to preserve the vitamin content.

We are pleased to offer both of these exceptional oils together at a discounted price so that you can incorporate both into your diet. For adults, we try to incorporate 2 tablespoons of Coconut Oil and 1 tablespoon of Red Palm Oil into our diet every day. For autism or dementia, we recommend increasing Coconut Oil to 5 tablespoons per day - 2 the morning, 1 in the afternoon, and 2 at dinner or before bed to provide a constant source of fuel for the brain. Coconut oil is stable in cooking and can be used to make french fries, added to smoothies, guacamole or soups.
