Product Description

  • Standardized to 70% Polysaccharides
  • Stimulates Production of Immune Cells*.
  • A Dietary Supplement
  • Vegetarian Formula
For more than 2000 years, Chinese herbalists have valued Astragalus for its adaptogenic properties, as well as for its ability to tonify the body's "vital force" known as the Qi. More recently, Astragulus has been found to support healthy immune function through numerous mechanisms. Non-clinical studies using Astragalus have demonstrated its ability to stimulate the production of and increase the activity of specialized white blood cells, such as T-Cells and Natural Killer Cells. Astragalus has also been studied for its role in the support of healthy liver and vascular function. Herbalists recommend the use of Astragalus both seasonally and year-round to support a healthy immune system - it also has antiviral properties.(1)*

People with autism or environment-related illness often show high levels of antibodies to Measles,CMV,Lymeand other infections, or may catch a lot of seasonal infections, and immune support may be an important part of caring for their health.

S
tudies show that Astragalusstimulates macrophages and white blood cells, helping to prepare the body to fight off invaders, and also increases supplies of Natural Killer (NK) cells, bone marrow, stem cells and lymph available to help fight infections. Astragalussupports production by the body of Interferon, a potent viral inhibitor.(2)

Another benefit of
Astragalusis a boost to the production of hormone messenger molecules needed to send a signal to the immune system that a virus or bacteria is present and needs to be destroyed.

Astraglus supports the major organs, including the spleen,m lungs and liver, as well as the kidneys and heart. The spleen and liver are some of the body's natural filters, and help to remove toxins and other materials which can be harmful. Astragalus helps to keep these filters healthy and actively at work. Astraglus also lowers levels of cortisol.

Suggested Usage

As an herbal dietary supplement, take 1 Vcap 1-3 times daily as needed, preferably with meals.

Note: Do not use if taking immune suppressing drugs. Do not use Astragalus if you have a fever, as it will suppress your ability to sweat.
