SCD Diet

The Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD) has recently gained popularity amongst many parents of children within the autism spectrum.  On this diet, children do not eat certain carbohydrates, including rice, in order to cut off the food supply of pathogenic organisms which feed on certain carbohydrates and are problematic for children within the autism spectrum.

Because of the requests of parents whose children are on the SCD diet, SCD Peptizyde has been created and Zyme Prime has been reformulated to omit the small amount of rice bran used as fillers.

The original formulation worked extremely well for most children over several years and we feel that both the original and SCD formulations are both highly effective.  It is up to parents to decide which formula is most appropriate for their children.
