We are extremely pleased to be able to offer
this patent-pending, highly absorbable oral form of liquid glutathione. This
is the original sodium-benzoate free formulation of lipoceutical glutathione
developed by Dr. Tim Guilford that has been
used by thousands of families within the autism community.
Glutathione is one of the most powerful antioxidants that the body produces
and is used to bind and remove toxins, including heavy metals from the
body. According to recent research by
Dr.
Jill St. James, most children within the
autism spectrum are significantly deficient in glutathione and this
deficiency may
significantly contribute to the symptoms associated with autism. It is believed
by several autism researchers who presented at the Autism
One Conference, including Dr. Mady Hornig, Dr. Boyd Haley, and Dr.
Mary Megson, that mercury poisoning disrupts the
transsulfurration metabolic pathway, reducing the body's natural production of
glutathione.
Impaired ability to detoxify and protect cells
from damage may lead to brain damage, including impaired ability of
neurons to communicate with each other, impaired proliferation of nerve
cells during early childhood development, and the die-off of neurons
within the brain. Increasing levels of glutathione protects
the brain and other parts of the body from this damage.
Previously, the only way to take glutathione and have it absorbed was to have it infused intravenously, or absorbed through the skin
with a trans-dermal cream. This is because glutathione is
typically destroyed during digestion
and what little is not destroyed may be difficult for cells to absorb. However, this new form of glutathione now allows it to be
quickly and efficiently absorbed into the bloodstream and cells orally
by enclosing the glutathione molecule within tiny,
nanosize spheres of fat called liposomes.
What is Glutathione?

Glutathione (GSH) is a short string of amino acids called a peptide. It is composed of three amino acids: glycine, glutamine and cysteine. It is one of the main antioxidants in the cell and is considered a "key antioxidant" in the function of cells.
The functions of glutathione include:
* Protects cells against free radicals
* Removes toxins
* Enhances immune function
* Regulates protein and DNA growth
Glutathione tends to be deficient in those suffering from chronic
auto-immune and neurological degenerative diseases including Autism,
Alzheimer's, Parkinson's Disease, Cystic Fibrosis, Heart Attack and
Stroke, and Liver Disease. Additional diseases affected by
glutathione deficiency include: HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Seizure, Sickle
Cell Anemia.
What are Liposomes?
Liposomes, tiny spheres (100 - 500 nanometer size) have been demonstrated to have 90% absorption in human studies.
The liposome in this product is wrapped around glutathione.
The liposome in liposomal glutathione is made from Essential Phospholipids (EPL), natural components of human and animal cell membranes. A continuous supply of EPL, or its constituents, is essential for cell maintence,
and helps to promote efficient communication between cells, including
nerve cells within the brain. A key component of health and well
being, the EPL in this product is derived from soy lecithin. These
phospholids are derived contain soy oil, but no soy protein.
Advantages of Liposome-Enclosed Glutathione
Our form of liposome-enclosed Glutathione offers many advantages:
 |
It is better tasting because it uses sweet tasting glycerine as a
preservative.
|
 |
It is highly stable and does not have to be expensively shipped
on ice, providing a savings of typically $8 on
shipping. As per the manufacturer's guidelines, we ship it by
2nd Day mail, but we can ship it overnight and/or on ice upon
request for an additional shipping fee. For customers outside
the U.S., bulk orders would be advisable, as the cost of shipping
2nd Day international is considerable. To arrange for custom
shipping, please email
Autism Coach.
|
 |
If used within six months, it can be stored at room
temperature (between 65-75 degrees Farenheit) without
significant degradation of glutathione and liposome integrity.
|
 | It does not contain Sodium Benzoate, which may be problematic for
some children within the autism spectrum. Researchers have
found significant reductions in hyperactive behavior during when artificial colors and sodium benzoate were removed from the
diet. Although Sodium Benzoate is not listed as a banned
ingredient in the Feingold Diet for ADD/ADHD, the diet was
originally developed in the 1970's and new additives that are
suspected of being problematic have not been added to the official
Feingold list of banned ingredients. However, many people on
the Feingold diet eliminate Sodium Benzoate as well from their diet,
along with other additives. For more information on this diet,
please visit the feingold.org web site.

Autism Coach's Personal Experience with Liposome-Enclosed
Glutathione
My son, who is currently diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, and my
father, who is currently diagnosed with Parkinson's and Alzheimers have
been taking liposome-enclosed glutathione for about 9 months. Both
son and grandfather are color blind, which, according to autism
researcher Dr. Mary Megson, is also a genetic marker linked to impaired
ability to detoxify heavy metals, including mercury.
My 85-year old father worked directly with mercury when he built
equipment for the tire industry during his career. My son, was exposed to
mercury in large part through the 24 or so vaccines he received before
the age of 2, which in 1991-1992 virtually all of whichi contained mercury
in the form of the vaccine preservative, thimerisol. Nine months ago, my father was having difficulty in even talking and
we were beginning to lose him as the person we had known and
loved.
Within a month of starting the glutathione, my father regained
much of his considerable mental acuity and eloquence and 9 months later
he continues demonstrate his intelligence, awareness of current events and sense of humor. My
13-year old son's mental acuity also improved and he has repeatedly
commented on how much more aware he has been since taking the
glutathione.
There are also indications that the Glutathione supplementation may
lead to higher levels of serotonin, and may providing some
anti-depressant benefit. Glutathione production also declines a
people age and supplementation with glutathione may prove to be of
benefit to people over the age of 40.
We take the glutathione mixed with a 1/4
teaspoon of pure Vitamin C powder mixed in (about 1000% adult RDA for Vitamin
C) and additionally with cranberry juice or a capsule of cranberry
extract (to prevent the risk of kidney stones from developing from
the high dose of Vitamin C). Combining Vitamin C and glutathione has been
recommended by Dr. David Perlmutter in his Better Brain Book. He
writes that he has significantly reversed symptoms in Parkinson's
patients by administering an intraveneous drip of Vitamin C intravenously over a
several hour period, to unbind mercury from the brain, followed by a
glutathione push near the end of the Vitamin C infusion to bind to and
excrete the mercury so it is not re-absorbed into the body. Large
amounts of vitamin C taken orally can be irritating to the intestinal
lining. The type of large dosages used by Dr. Perlmultter should
only be performed by a knowledgeable physician.
We now offer a high-quality Vitamin
C powder that is corn-free (most Vitamin C is derived from
corn). The glutathione and Vitamin C powder, could be easily mixed
in orange juice or another citrus drink and consumed in the morning.
Recommended Dosage
Adult servings begin with 1.5 teaspoonfuls (approx. 650mg) twice daily for 7 to 10 days—and can be lowered to one teaspoonful (approx. 430mg) daily as a "maintenance serving", or as otherwise directed by your physician or health care professional.
Recommended child servings are 1/8 to ¼ of a teaspoon (approx. 55-108mg) for every
30 lbs of the child’s weight, twice a day. Please consult with your child’s physician before use. For example, a 75lb child could begin with approximately 3/4 of a teaspoon (325mg) up to twice daily.
These are general serving guidelines; parents can adjust servings based on individual needs—or as otherwise directed by a physician.
Additional information on
administering a dose: Please note that because glutathione
is a sulfur bearing molecule, it does have a sulfurous smell.
Also, liposomes occasionally clump together within the solution.
Simply a few gentle shakes just before administering a dose
redistributes the liposomes within the solution. Take the dose
promptly upon shaking. Do not shake vigorously, as the objective
is to redistribute the liposomes within the solution while keeping the
glutathione enclosed within the liposomes. If desired, it can be
gently mixed into orange juice or another juice if taken immediately
after mixing.
Ingredients
The list of Ingredients per 1 teaspoon (5 ml) dose are:
Glutathione 422.7 mg
Other ingredients: Purified Water, Glycerin, Hydroxylated
Lecithin, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate (as preservative)
Caution
This liposomes are soy-oil based product so individuals with an allergy or sensitivity to soy beans should not
use this product. If you have significant health problems, we recommend you consult with your health care
provider before taking this supplement. Some parents have reported
that with other forms of oral glutathione, their children have experienced a
Candida overgrowth, but we have not yet
heard comparable reports about this form of glutathione, which may
be less problematic because it is much more efficiently absorbed and
less likely to remain in the intestinal tract to become a breeding
ground for yeast.
Note: This product is not intended to treat, cure, or
prevent any disease. Please note that supplements are
non-refundable, once opened.
