Supplementation with Co-Q10, can support needed immune-system and
neurological support. Coenzyme Q10 is an important antioxidant,
that is found in high concentration in the heart and liver.
Individuals within the autism spectrum tend to have lower levels of
anti-oxidants, such as Co-Q10, which protect against free
radicals.
Free radicals are highly
reactive chemicals that can damage important parts of cells, including
DNA.
A fat-soluble, vitamin-like
essential substance, CoQ10 participates in mitochondrial energy
production within heart cells and throughout the body. CoQ10 also serves
as an antioxidant in all cell membranes, helping to preserve their
integrity and function. It is part of the ATP
energy cycle, that by which cells use fats, sugars, and amino acids to
produce the energy. It can influence fatigue, muscle function, and
cognition. An optimal ATP energy cycle helps to support optimal
neurological health by enabling the cells in the brain to perform
metabolic processes more efficiently and efficiently remove potentially
toxic by-products of metabolism, including free radicals.
Original Soy Free Co-Q
10
Our Co-Q10 is derived from fermentation and consists only of the
natural trans configuration, the same as is synthesized by humans.
Those who take cholesterol-lowering statin drugs and people with gum
disease, which is also linked to heart disease have tested as having low
levels of Co-Q10. Supplementation with Co-Q10 is believed to suppress
inflammation associated with gum disease and improvement in symptoms of
cardiac and congestive heart-failure patients. There is the possibility
that statin drugs actually contribute to congestive heart failure by
depleting the body of the Co-Q10 the heart needs to operate efficiently,
so it is highly recommended that those taking statin drugs supplement
with Co-Q10 as a preventive measure - we recommend consulting with your
physician about the use of Co-Q10 in relation to other medications.
A study of 80 Parkinson's Disease patients funded by the National
Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), led by Clifford
Shults, M.D., of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD)
suggested that Co-Q10 slowed the rate of deterioration in Parkinson's
disease, by as much as 44%,as compared with a control group.
On a personal note, our family has used the soy-free Co-Q10 for years, and have
found it to be consistently effective in increasing energy and improving
mental alertness.
Andrew Weil, the Harvard trained M.D.,recommends CoQ10 for its
abilities to "protect cholesterol from oxidation, maintain health
blood vessels, reduce the risk of plaque rupture, and support optimal
functioning of the heart muscle."
My own mother, diagnosed with congestive heart failure for over 5
years, had a MUGA (Multi-Gated Acquisition) radioactive test for heart
muscle function, showed an increase 37% to 46% in a year, with 50-60
being considered normal. The only difference in her regimen in the
past year was taking my CoQ10. Another customer, Sharon Boerger,
also diagnosed with congestive heart failure has seen a significant
increase in her energy level to the point where she has been able to do
cleaning and organizing that she hasn't had the energy to do for years.

New!
Lipid Soluble Co-Q10
Our new Lipid Soluble Co-Q10, contains 100 mg of Ubiquinol, which is
the reduced (active antioxidant) state of Co-Q10. This form of
Co-Q10 is directly used in human metabolism as a lipid-soluble
antioxidant. While standard Co-Q10 (ubiquinone) supplements can be
activated in the body, this activation can be less efficient in some
individuals, based on age, genetics, blood sugar status or level of
oxidative stress.* The Ubiquinol of our Lipid Soluble formula directly
provides the activated form, and also has superior bioavailability to
ubiquinone, as demonstrated in clinical trials.*
This is an enhanced stability formula that utilizes a natural
proliposome lipid-soluble delivery system, which has been clinically
shown in humans to increase Co-Q10 levels up to 400% (3.2x) over
baseline and is 3-4 times better absorbed than chewable Co-Q10 tablets.
Ubiquinol is derived from Co-Q10 that is manufactured via a
yeast-fermentation process and consists only of the natural trans
configuration, the same as is biosynthesized in the human body.

Other ingredients: Medium chain triglycerides,
phosphatidylcholine (from soy lecithin), beeswax, rosmarinic acid,
vitamin E, and ascorbyl palmitate. Softgel consists of gelatin, glycerin
and water. Carob and caramel extract added as a light barrier.
Dosage: Take 1 to 3 softgels per day, one with each meal, or
as directed by your qualified health care consultant.
